袪痰劑（Expectorant），作用是使呼吸道之分泌增加，這些分泌液不但可保護呼吸道的黏膜，而且會減低痰的黏性，使其流動性增加， 易於排出，間接促成止咳的目的。

1. Uni-phen expectorant 

indications: Used in the treatment of wet cough.

side effect: drowsiness, dry mouth, headache 

max: 20ml/day 

2. Duro tuss expectorant  咳樂治化痰止咳露

indications: dor productive expectoration + prevent excessive couhg 

dosage :15ml tds 

side effect: N&V, restlessness

contraindications:  HTN, gastric ulceration

3. Mist-Expect stim (MES) 馬尿

Indications: 原理是刺激呼吸道，使氣管釋出水份稀釋痰液，使病人容易咳出積存的痰液。因此待所有痰液清除後，咳嗽就會自自然然停止. 

**係唔可以用黎止咳.**

Side effect: Drowsiness, dry mouth, irregular breath

4. Guaifenesin (musinex, robitussin Ex 樂必治)

indications: cough 

max:2400mg/day

Side effect: abd pain, N&V, dizzy
