Antihistamine 

作用是收乾鼻水、通鼻塞。此外，亦有抗敏感作用

此類藥物可引起睡意、口渴、及胃部不適等副作用。所以應多喝開水及於飯後服藥。

同時，更切忌飲酒，及應避免駕駛或進行危險性工作；亦不可同時服用安眠藥、鎮靜劑或解痙藥。

1. Montelukast 

indications: Chronic asthma, Allergic rhinitis, Prophylaxis of exercise-induced asthma 

uses: 10mg /day 

Side effect: headache, stomach pain, dizzy, Behavioural changes (e.g. agitation, anxiety, depression)

** Nx: no driving, monitor behavior change**

2. Fexofenadine (Telfast)退敏快

indications: allergic rhinitis 

dosage: 180mg/day 

Side effect: headahe, dizzy, dry mouth

** 不要與胃藥同用**

3. Cetirizine (zyrtec) 治敏速

OTC (used as systemic antihistamines)

indications: symptomatic treatment of seasonal & perennial allergic rhinitis

鼻敏感（鼻痕、鼻水、噴嚏）、皮膚敏感（紅點、紅腫、痕癢）、過敏導致的眼部瘙癢、流鼻水

dosage: 10mg/ day 

side effect: headache, dry mouth, fatigue,

4. Levocetirizine (xyzal, lisinex)

indications: Seasonal allergic rhinitis, hives

dosage:2.5-5mg/day

side effect: drowsiness, tireness, dry mouth 

Nx: not for renal/ hepatic impairment
